About:

The Motley Spielhaus is set to be a brand new space next to Victoria Market in the city.

It is made up of two main areas both adjoining a large courtyard where patrons can get a drink and nibble on fresh produce direct from the market.

There is one blackbox performance area projected to seat around 40 whilst offering maximum flexibility to the artist, and a dynamic, intimate experience for audiences. Next door it is serviced by a gallery/bar area where we will have small music performances in the evenings.

This space is still in the making and Melbourne Fringe will be its first big foray into the live performance scene.

Additional Info :

• The standard show format for the venue is an under 60 mins run-time with a 20 minute changeover
• The theatre hire includes all technical equipment in its standard configuration, but a technical operator is not provided as part of this agreement.
  • Depending on the needs of the artists one may be able to be provided at an extra charge.
• They are offering a straight 30/70 door split with a minimum of $150 per performance
