The heritage-listed building at 717 Flinders Street, Docklands offers a unique venue for performances, celebrations, and events of all styles and sizes.
It features a sunbathed Spanish Mission-style courtyard full of rustic charm, a lush beer garden, historic chapel, the magnificent Norla Dome, and the large Main Hall – the possibilities are endless.
Fully licensed and close to all public transport.
Norla Dome The Norla Dome is a feature of the heritage-listed Mission to Seafarers. Originally designed as a gymnasium for visiting seafarers, it has hosted live music performances, theatrical and dance shows, exhibitions and all manner of events and celebrations. It seats up to approx. 90 people for an in-the-round or traditional style performance and up to 120 for a standing event.
Celia Little Room The wood-panelled Celia Little Room (68m2) can seat up to 60 people for a performance with a theatre style set-up, and even more depending on staging. The rooms’ French doors open up onto the cloistered courtyard for guests to stretch their legs during intervals, or for pre-show drinks.
The Main Hall The Main Hall (160sqm) has hosted live music performances, theatrical and dance shows, exhibitions and all manner of events and celebrations. It seats up to approx. 150 people for a traditional theatre style performance and up to 250 for a live music or similar standing event. The Courtyard and The Chapel are also available spaces.
