Inspired by theatres throughout Europe 'Piccolo Teatro' is a newly designed boutique 32 seat theatre space discreetly situated in one of Melbourne's iconic city laneways ( just around the corner from Bourke St Mall) The entire venue is outfitted with vintage velvet curtains and antique dining chairs along with framed artwork all whilst maintaining a rustic ambience. We have a state of the art lighting and sound that was newly installed and a licensed bar. Our theatre aims to showcase  performances of a high standard therefore we encourage established artists to charge premium ticket prices. Your booking includes a technician for each performance (includes rehearsal) and an onsite manager and bar person. You provide your own FOH for ticketing/seating. Doors must be open 30 minutes prior to your event starting.

Drop in Friday or Saturdays before the show or during the week by appointment.

Important to remember;

• You take all the revenue from ticketing
• There is no access for under accompanied minors due to our liquor license
• There is no disabled access
• Best suited for small /intimate productions
• There is a tiny dressing-room side of stage, there is also separate dressing/green room above the stage with access via a black spiral staircase - you can enter and exit via this staircase

Available hire dates, note you are encouraged to do 2 shows per day as our hire fee is set ;

• Tuesday 29th September - Thursday October 1st
• Sunday 4th October - Thursday October 8th
• Sunday 11th October - Thursday October 15th

*Note it is possible to run a show on Fridays for a matinee

Successful offers agree to do all shows within the run/s they are offered.

It may be possible for artists to only put up a shorter run, or add performances.

This will only be offered if it fits within our schedule, and generally only available in the earliest or latest time slot.

Shorter runs may result in a higher minimum fee per performance, which will be stipulated in the email offer.
