VENUE Malthouse is a unique artistic institution in Melbourne/Naarm full of history, that enriches lives through thought-provoking live theatre experiences and excellent hospitality.

PROGRAMMING OBJECTIVES

Work for inclusion in the Malthouse mainstage, festival and outdoor programs. We look to program work that is: daring, unexpected, smart, innovative, engaging, provocative, accessible, playful, memorable.

AUDIENCE

We aim to reach a wide range of audiences through our various programming models and engagement activities.

Annie is the Senior Producer at Malthouse Theatre. After completing a Bachelor of Creative Industries at QUT, she attended Deakin University to undertake graduate studies of Arts & Entertainment Management. Her career in the arts spans production, education, marketing and administration. In addition to Malthouse Theatre, she has worked with several arts organisations in Naarm, including Melbourne Theatre Company, Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, and Melbourne Fringe. In 2014 Annie founded Hot Mess Productions, a company championing independent artists with bold ideas. She is a member of the Theatre Works Board, and a previous member of the Green Room Awards Association Executive Panel. One day she hopes to combine two of her loves, and make a theatrical show about cheese.
