Janet is the Melbourne based Creative Director of independent production company Comedy Gold/Local Laughs (operating as Janet A McLeod Presents internationally). With 25 years experience in live comedy, Janet’s curatorial skills are called upon by arts festivals and organistations, while her active collaboration and championing of a large numbers of comedy practitioners has seen her dubbed "The Fairy Godmother of Melbourne Comedy".Janet’s attention to detail coupled with a genuine love and understanding of comedy has made her long running room Local Laughs a favourite of comedians and audience alike.
