In addition to shows that take place in the rooms, we have the Fringe of the Hub activations that take place in public and unusual spaces. These events and activations across the Fringe Programmed Venues might be things like projections on walls, a couch and old TV screening art films and old movies, a puppet roaming through the hallways interacting with visitors, a small exhibition of visual artworks and more!
We're here for any experimental and wonderful idea that brings the Fringe spirit to life and showcases the creativity of our local artists.
Fringe of the Hub activations do not receive any fees or payment from Melbourne Fringe, but they also are not charged anything to participate and receive free production and operational support, and a wall label or other signage if appropriate. These experiences are about creating fun and showing off your work in a space where thousands of people pass through every week.
