Our intimate theatre is located down the Raglan St laneway in the heart of North Melbourne’s bustling arts precinct, where we have been providing unique, eccentric & avant-garde live performances for audiences since 2003. We are an integral part of Melbourne’s theatre culture; allowing performers and independent theatre companies on the verge of professionalism to develop, workshop & perform new works in front of a live audience in a supportive environment.

FESTIVAL HIRE

$180 per show

Dates locked in with $540 Deposit

Must run AT LEAST 4 shows per season in a consistent time slot

Max. Show length: One hour

15min bump in / 15 min bump out.

TIME SLOTS

6 to 7pm 7.30 to 8.30pm 9 to 10pm 10.30 to 11.30pm

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your Festival hire with Club Voltaire, we will retain your $360 deposit until those spots are filled. If they are unable to be filled, you will lose your deposit.

REHEARSAL/PRICING: $40 p/hr, $250 p/day

You will need to organise your own technician and door staff. All Sound/ lighting Technicians must be experienced/qualified. You must also have a good marketing strategy in place in order to increase your chances of having a good crowd for a more enjoyable festival experience. It is also expected that performers will have their own Public Liability Insurance.
