Ashley Apap

Ashley Apap is a Melbourne based comedy writer/performer whose work focuses on melding silliness and sincerity. Informed by her personal experiences with chronic pain and chronic illness, Apap highlights accessibility in her creative process, replicating digital versions of her hour-long comedy shows and striving to make accessibility the norm for all independent performers/producers like herself. Her debut Melbourne International Comedy Festival solo show "Ouch!" was nominated for the 2022 Golden Gibbo Award to sold out crowds and she's since been performing her high energy standup, sketch, improv, musical comedy and storytelling around Australia. You can catch her new musical extravaganza "Outer Child" at Melbourne Fringe in 2023.

Lauren Hayes

Lauren is a creative and passionate Digital and Arts Accessibility Consultant. Lauren has over 7 years’ experience in collaborating with organisations to review and provide guidance on best practice regarding accessible and inclusive design of products and services. As a freelancer, Lauren has significant experience in providing technical and advisory support to not-for-profit, disability, arts and community organisations, including Able Australia, Guide Dogs Victoria, Arts Access Victoria and Intopia.

Sam Martin

Sam Martin (He/Him) is a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Queer Creative producer and director, driven by a love for authenticity and people. His work seamlessly traverses both film and theatre, with a strong emphasis on the factual space and narratives derived from real-life experiences. Currently, Sam is directing his latest short documentary "Bombay to Bondi" while also curating the ongoing event PAH! Stories. PAH! is a captivating platform that amplifies the diverse and intersectional narratives of d/Deaf/HoH individuals. With a profound commitment to diversity, inclusion, and pride, Sam collaborates with others to break barriers, promote understanding, and spotlight stories that authentically represent his communities. Additionally, Sam's active involvement on the boards of Deaf Rainbow NSW, Arts Access Victoria and Inclusive Rainbow Voices showcases his dedication to advocacy and community-building efforts within these community spaces.
